Anaktó Gear – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of Anaktó Gear products, including but not limited to the Reevo, Skoúpa, Pro, Selfie and Mini models (collectively, the “Products”). By purchasing, possessing, or using any Anaktó Gear Product, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Intended Use

The Products are designed exclusively as adaptors for use with a stick clip for sport climbing, with the specific purpose of assisting in the retrieval of climbing rope.

    • The Products are not safety devices.
    • They are not designed, tested, or certified for load-bearing, fall arrest, or any form of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Any use outside of the intended purpose is strictly prohibited and is undertaken solely at the user’s own risk.

2. User Responsibility

By using the Products, you agree that:

    • You are solely responsible for determining the suitability of the Product for your intended use.
    • You will follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Anaktó Gear.
    • You accept full responsibility for any harm, injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use, modification, or failure to follow these Terms.

3. No Liability

Anaktó Gear and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not responsible or liable for any injury, death, property damage, or other loss that may occur:

    • From misuse, abuse, or use outside the intended purpose of the Products.
    • From user negligence, improper setup, or unsafe climbing practices.
    • From any third-party actions or environmental conditions.

By purchasing or using the Products, you agree to waive, release, and hold harmless Anaktó Gear from all such claims to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Product Variations

This Terms of Use applies to all versions of the Product, including the Reevo, Skoúpa, Pro, and Selfie models, regardless of size, design, or material differences.

5. Assumption of Risk

Sport climbing, and any activity involving climbing equipment, carries inherent risks that can result in serious injury or death. By using any Anaktó Gear Product, you:

    • Accept and assume all such risks, both known and unknown.
    • Agree that Anaktó Gear is not responsible for your safety during any climbing activity.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

By purchasing, using, or retaining any Anaktó Gear Product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use in their entirety.
